Natural therapies have been an integral part of my life, from my childhood in Africa assisting in bush clinics to making natural therapy my first choice.
I am Isabelle and I have been running my practice, Tao of Health, since 2006.
I am trained in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese massage and Qi Gong, but my primary modalities are acupuncture and emotional therapies. I have trained in, and gained expertise in treating pregnancy related issues such as breech and posterior, fertility issues including ART (IVF), stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, fears & phobias, menopausal symptoms, gynaecological problems, pain, musculoskeletal problems and arthritis.
In 2001 I began studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and after an internship in China, I graduated from the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM). I am also accredited in Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Quantum Entrainment and Metamorphic Technique. I have a Masters in Sophrology where my treatment targets the emotional origin of illness.
I am a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA/AHPRA) and member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society ATMS.
I can refer to an extensive network of practitioners who may be more appropriate to treat particular complaints.
Tao of Health offers HICAPS facilities allowing for the convenience of fast health fund claims on-the-spot. Bring your health fund membership card to your consultation.
In China, Western medicine and Chinese medicine are used together in harmony. I echo this through my own treatment, offering patients the best of both worlds.
My goal is to provide the necessary treatment to allow my clients to evolve, grow and understand that:
